Primary Tufting Glue Instructions
ATS Primary Tufting Glue is an easy to apply and strong holding adhesive that will ensure your rugs will last for years to come.
PREPARATION
Primary Tufting Glue is suitable for use on Cotton, Wool, & Aclylic yam tufted rugs. Primary Backing material
may be Polyester, Cotton, or a blend of both. The adhesive should be applied above 10° c and below 30℃.
APPLICATION
- Spread adhesive using a paint brush, scraper or foam roller onto the back side of a tufted rug.
- Ensure the adhesive penetrates deeply into the tufts by applying in multiple directions.
- If required, apply multiple layers, waiting 15 minutes between each application.
- Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to set. Allow 36·48 hours before use.
CLEAN UP
Clean tools and equipment immediately after use with warm, soapy water.
SHELF LIFE
A shelf life of 6 months is expected when stored in an unopened container in the correct storage conditions.
Use the adhesive within 3 months after opening.
CAUTION
Always ensure that there is adequate ventilation when using this adhesive.

Always wear the correct Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), hand protection,
eye protection, avoid repeated or prolonged skin contact.
SAFETY
Avoid eye and skin contact. If eye contact occurs, immediately rinse with clean
water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention. Wash skin immediately
after contact with plenty of water and soap. If swallowed, rinse mouth, do not induce
vomiting, seek medical assistance immediately.
STORAGE
The adhesive should be stored between 10 °c and 30 ° C.
Keep away from frost and direct sunlight.
After sitting, stir the adhesive gently and avoid the inclusion of air.
